Haiti – Your team will be staying at our Missions Training Center. Accommodations vary by trip. Typically, groups room together by gender. The Missions Training Center includes a common eating area, showering facilities, and a gathering area for project planning and group de-briefing. There is no electricity except between the hours of 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Dominican Republic – Your team will be staying at a local hotel near the mission base. Accommodations vary by trip. Typically, groups are asked to room 2-3 per room. Meals will be provided at the hotel during your trip.

CAN I ARRIVE LATE OR LEAVE EARLY?

It’s critical for all groups to arrive and depart on the scheduled days. There are complications with transportation, lodging and the scheduled activities, so please plan to arrive and depart on the scheduled days.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

A Mission Team Travel Guide Journal will be sent to each team member detailing a full list of what to bring.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL INDIVIDUAL OR MY GROUP?

If you need to cancel your group, or reduce the number of team members, you must contact the U.S. Office 60 days prior to the trip. When cancelling a team member or group after 60 days prior to the trip, the deposits will forfeit. If there is a remaining balance, you are able to transfer the deposit to that balance. Deposits will be non-refundable or transferable if a cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to the trip.

WHAT TRANSPORTATION DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE?

You will need to provide your round-trip airfare and any other transportation involved with that travel. Lists of the required flights are found in the Mission Team Travel Guide. All teams will arrive and depart on the scheduled team days.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Pick a team date you would like to join and call the U.S. office to confirm the availability. Call now to reserve your spot as space is limited and trips do fill up quickly. Please call 407-240-4058.

WHEN DO WE HAVE TO PAY?

-$100 deposit per person is due 60 days prior to the trip.

-$350 balance per person is due 30 days prior to the trip.

CAN I ADD PEOPLE LATE?

Based upon the availability of the trip, you will be able to add a person up to 30 days prior to the trip. In most cases, we will require full payment and an application at the time of booking.

WHAT IF THE TRIP I WANT IS FULL?

All team registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. We have teams visiting Haiti and the Dominican Republic every month so please have an alternative date in mind. If you would like, you may be placed on a waiting list if we have any cancellations for a specific trip.

YOUTH AND CHILDREN TRAVELING UNDER THE AGE OF 18?

A parent, legal guardian, family member, or church pastor must accompany children traveling under the age of 18. All youth teams must be accompanied by a youth leader. Children cannot travel without their parents. Teenagers can travel with their church leader.
